Services

NordicMed provides both traveling nurses and nurse placement services to hospitals throughout the United States. We offer highly trained and experienced nurses (2 years experience or more), fluent in English, employment opportunities in the state of their choice. All nurses hold, at minimum, a bachelor’s degree in nursing and have experience using the latest technologic healthcare equipment available within the United States.

Contracting in the U.S.
Nurses can be contracted for any length of time including long-term contracts from 6 months to 2 years. Generous bonuses are awarded to our traveling nurses for every 6 months of a contract completed. Our nurses are offered the opportunity to spend the warmer months in the Northeast and the colder months in sunny Florida. We also encourage NordicMed nurses to travel to the U.S. with their family members and will assist them with their immigration paperwork and documentation. This includes sponsorship by NordicMed for obtaining a Green Card.*

Being Part of a Community
We also provide assistance with contacting other Scandinavians in the community so that our nurses never feel “home sick”. We notify our nurses of celebratory festivities surrounding the different Scandinavian holidays to help them feel that they have taken a little bit of home with them.

Financial Compensation
NordicMed will provide financial compensation for our traveling nurses to fly from Scandinavia to the United States. In addition, we provide housing and reimbursement for travel expenses to our traveling nurses in the course of their work.

Pursuing Opportunity
As an international nurse working for NordicMed our employees can advance their professional career by gaining experience working in a variety of clinical settings. NordicMed will also support our nurses in continuing their education to advance their career. These experiences that are gained working in the U.S. will make our healthcare professionals far more marketable in the U.S. and at home, should they decide to return to Scandinavia.
